"Dai Yan Ren" by Elva Hsiao

This is one of the few decent songs on Elva's 2006 album, 1087. The album was so titled because that was how many days it was between new albums for her. Honestly, she should have left this one in the oven for a few more days and perhaps come up with some better songs. I guess it isn't her fault so much as it is the fault of the songwriters at Warner, but they definitely let her down on this one.

The song goes on for quite a bit longer than this. I had to make a couple different cuts to get it to a reasonable length. Hopefully you shouldn't be able to tell where the cuts were.

The background, on the other hand, was not a huge amount of effort. I found a photo of a sunrise, which I thought would symbolize Elva saying she'll be better off without this guy. (She has a lot of songs like that...) Photos on www.freefoto.com are freely available for non-profit use, as long as they are properly attributed:

I then added some random text. The title of the song uses a font which used to be available here, although I don't know where it went:

The banner is obviously just a smaller composition of the previous elements.
